Seasonal Grower Relations Assistant
JOB SUMMARY
The Seasonal Grower Relations Assistant reports to the Grower Relations Department and oversees the collection, accuracy, reporting and distribution of daily grape information used for scheduling purpose for all facilities. This is a seasonal position with full time hours, Monday – Friday, from approximately July through October. Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of administrative or data entry experience and strong computer and Excel skills.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Monitoring daily brix levels and deliveries (loads) daily
- Facilitate contact with growers to schedule delivery of grapes to various receiving locations
- Building and changing of a weekly schedule based on allotted space
- Confirming that truck liability certificates are on file before delivery of grapes
- Requesting and tracking of pesticide reports from growers before delivery of grapes
- Confirming and closing grower blocks for payment
- Answering and returning phone calls and emails
- Provide clerical and administrative support to staff as needed

QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be 18 years or older at time of hire
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of administrative/clerical or data entry experience with attention to detail
- Microsoft Office, Excel, and general computer skills
- Ability to multi-task, adapt/respond in an environment of constant change
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Organizational skills
- Attention to detail, accuracy in both numerical and written products
- Demonstrate reliable attendance
- Support and model all company procedures and policies
