The Credit Administrator gathers, verifies, organizes, and analyzes all available credit information for new and existing customers, assigns appropriate credit lines, contacts delinquent customers in a timely and professional manner and communicates same with branch management and teams. We work together to provide the best service to our customers and company team members.
As a Credit Administrator with Hajoca, your duties will include, but are not limited to:
•Investigate and respond to credit and accounts receivable inquiries from customers, branch personnel and management in a timely manner
•Manage credit lines and delinquencies and place accounts on hold as necessary
•Gain a working understanding of the liens/bond statutes to collect accounts receivable
•Utilize attorneys, collection agencies, and/or third party assistance to file liens, bond claims, or other legal action necessary to safeguard and collect accounts receivable
All interested applicants must possess:
• 3 years’ college experience and be currently working towards a degree
• Associates degree, or 4-year college degree
• 2 years’ experience in a customer service role
• Accounting / mathematical ability and experience
• The ability to develop collaborative and influential relationships with team members, customers, and branch personnel to optimize sales
• Ability and willingness to travel to branches: local and some overnights as position expands
• Ability to plan and prioritize competing assignments, as well as take direction
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel)
Our ideal candidate will also:
• Wholesale distribution experience
• Drive to assist team members with other tasks as required
• Experience in Eclipse software system
