THE POSITION:  

We are looking for driven individuals to join our Sales & Operations Development Program and pursue a long term career with Hajoca.

During the rotational program, trainees are given guidance from their mentors and managers in all aspects of our business including warehouse procedures, operations, counter sales, inside sales, and outside sales. Learning occurs primarily through on-the-job experience, and is supplemented with coaching from experienced managers, book and computer courses, and visits with customers and vendors.

 

The program looks like this:

PHASE 1

Operations 

• Receiving

• Shipping

• RGA Procedures/Vendor Returns

• Deliveries and Truck Maintenance

• Product Knowledge Training

 

PHASE 2

Counter Sales

• Vendor Product Knowledge Sessions

• Work with Residential, Commercial and Repair/Remodel Contractors

• Intro to Outside Sales

• Administration

 

 

PHASE 3

Inside Sales

• Pricing and Margin Management

• Bids, Quotes and Submittals

• Product Procurement

• Job Scheduling

• Develop Vendor Relationships

• Joint Sales Calls with Outside Salesmen

• Project – to be determined by manager

During this final phase, there will be an in-depth career discussion with the Profit Center Manager and trainee to determine if trainee is interested in a career in Sales or Operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

·       Understand and participate in daily warehouse operations, including pulling orders, operating a forklift, and driving a commercial truck (CDL not required)

·       Build and develop relationships with customers, vendors, and teammates

·       Manage inventory levels and logistics associated with project timelines

·       Contribute to strategic business decisions and long term planning

Must be HUMBLE and HUNGRY for opportunity

·       Contribute positively to the growth and culture of the organization
